Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with computer vision and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
• Proven ability to deliver models into production and the edge.
• Strong skills in Python and data engineering; familiarity with MLOps is advantageous.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on problem solving in a production environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer-vision models to detect defects inline.
• Build data pipelines to connect cameras and machinery with training and inference systems.
• Deploy and monitor models at the edge, facilitating real-time operational feedback.
• Create manufacturing analytics and dashboards for insights into yield and processes.
• Collaborate with controls and quality teams to integrate inspection systems.
• Label, version, and consistently improve datasets and models.
