Your Impact

The Computer Vision (CV) Engineer will be responsible for model creation, evolution and evaluation. The CV engineer together with the Dev Ops teammates will manage the CV/ML pipeline and offer suggestions for continuous improvement in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage models lifecycle, to include training, testing and versioning
  • Create image and video preprocessing methods to enhance CV performance and introduce storage efficiencies
  • Manage and Monitor performance of CV/ML pipeline and engineer improvements to alleviate bottlenecks
  • Research and introduce new CV tools and processes as applicable
  • Capable of scaling processes to meet program demands
  • Assist in the migration of pre-existing pipelines to meet customer requirements


Required Qualifications:
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI (eligible for Poly)
  • Master's Degree of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience developing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Computer Vision models, working with different formats of image and video data.
  • 5+ years of experience working with and developing software prototypes and solutions.
  • Must have a deep understanding of Python.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Services (GCS), or Azure Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Unix environment
  • Use of Container repositories
  • Use of docker as a means to deploying models
    • CI/CD scripting to automate processes and model management
