Qualifications

• AAS degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school.
• Current NYS license to practice as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification mandatory for the position.
• Strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.
• Computer literacy essential for handling imaging software and data.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse CT examinations with and without IV contrast on various body parts.
• Assist physicians in conducting CT-guided biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Provide patients with clear instructions and reassurance during CT scans.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection-control practices during all procedures.
• Conduct required quality-control activities on imaging equipment.
• Adhere strictly to NYSDOH Part 16 regulations in all operations.
• Foster patient and family satisfaction through professional service and care.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Provide care to a diverse patient demographic including pediatric to geriatric patients.
