Compounding Manager Daily Tasks: What you will do: - Lead daily compounding operations, including pre-weigh, batching, and material handling to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage and develop production staff, including scheduling, training, performance oversight, and shift coordination.
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA, SOP, and OSHA standards across all compounding activities.
- Oversee documentation accuracy and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate deviations, batching errors, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize production workflows.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, equipment, and supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
- Support troubleshooting of production and compounding issues in collaboration with QA and Engineering teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment and promote a strong safety culture.
- Oversee audit readiness and ensure timely completion of corrective actions from internal and external audits.
Compounding Manager Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4-6+ years of leadership experience in a cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in compounding, batching, or mixing operations.
- Proven track record of improving production processes, reducing errors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, SOP, and OSHA requirements.
- Experience managing teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management across production shifts.
