OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:The Compliance Officer Defined Focus provides highly specialized expertise within their assigned area of focus and works collaboratively with leadership, staff and other compliance officers and auditors to proactively consult and educate to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations within their area of focus. When gaps are identified, the officer partners with the responsible parties to create corrective actions plans that will ensure compliance going forward. Area of focus may be one or more of the following: Research compliance Innovation compliance Grant compliance Fraud and abuse laws and regulations Billing and reimbursement compliance Compliance program development ADA/Section 504
**Ideal Candidate will have strong knowledge of Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and healthcare regulatory requirements. Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working collaboratively with legal counsel, real estate professionals, and executive leadership. Ability to interpret legal and contractual language and communicate risks effectively to leadership.

QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
Master's Degree
Experience:
- 5 years' experience in Compliance, Audit, Healthcare, Business or Area of Focus being recruited.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience in real estate compliance.
- Experience in interpreting healthcare rules and regulations.
- Experience in lease and contract auditing.
- Experience with physican arrangments.
- Certification in healthcare compliance, privacy, audit or assigned area of focus
