Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments and contribute to the annual compliance audit plan.
  • Design and implement risk-based audit programs for compliance assessment.
  • Perform audits and monitoring activities as per the approved audit plan.
  • Identify and document root causes of compliance risks with defensible evidence.
  • Effectively communicate audit results supported by data and analysis.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and validate corrective action plans.
  • Monitor audit outcomes and trends, reporting progress to compliance leadership.

Full Job Description
Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually

What You'll Do
  • Conduct operational, regulatory, and compliance audits across healthcare functions.
  • Assist in risk assessments and development of the annual audit plan.
  • Design and execute audit programs that identify risks and control gaps.
  • Analyze findings and recommend process improvements.
  • Monitor corrective action plans and audit follow-up activities.
  • Partner with leaders to provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PACE, Part D, LHCSA, and Article 28 requirements.
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Social Science, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare auditing experience.
  • Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a Health Plan, Managed Care Organization, PACE Program, or healthcare delivery system.
  • Knowledge of CMS, Part D, LHCSA, and Article 28 requirements.
  • Billing and coding experience.
  • Professional compliance or audit certification.
