About the Role

We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to join our Insurance team. Reporting to the Compliance Director, this role is critical in ensuring the company meets all regulatory and internal compliance requirements. In this role, you will also collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance analyst who is detailed-oriented, proactive, and interested in developing a broad perspective of company operations while continuing to excel in completing compliance tasks and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage filings in SERFF for forms, rules and rates
  • Maintain forms lists and applicability for all products
  • Maintain the filings library
  • Coordinate with product and engineering teams to ensure accuracy of form packages
  • Participate in audits by insurers, reinsurers and regulators
  • Respond to data calls
  • Maintain complaint process
  • Participate in marketing reviews
  • Participate in broker development contract reviews and appointment process
  • Other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of compliance experience in the P&C sector; commercial lines highly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

  • Get a warm welcome, meet the rest of the company, and get situated in your new position
  • Meet with the team leads of the units you will be supporting
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our insurance product offerings and the different channels, and ways that we sell coverage
  • Become familiar with the various software programs we use


What You'll Do in 60 Days

  • Be completely comfortable with our suite of products and offerings
  • Identify areas of improvement in our filing function through analytics to help shape product decisions throughout the company
  • Support the Compliance Director


What You'll Do in 90 Days

  • Have complete ownership of your area of responsibility
  • Assist other members of the company with inquiries within your areas of responsibility
  • Full end to end product knowledge
