Role Description

The Completions Manager is responsible for leadingdaily operational activities across aircraft completions, production supportfunctions, planning, materials, and cross-functional execution teams to ensureaircraft are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highestquality standards. This role serves as a key leader in achieving operationalperformance goals related to safety, quality, labor efficiency, scheduleadherence, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position partners closely with Engineering,Program Management, Planning, Procurement, Design, Quality, and Productionleadership to ensure efficient execution of aircraft completion programs whiledriving operational excellence, employee development, and process disciplinethroughout the organization.

Essential Job Functions
• Lead daily operational activities acrossaircraft completion programs, ensuring alignment with production schedules,customer commitments, and company objectives.
• Drive on-time aircraft delivery througheffective coordination of production, planning, materials, engineering,quality, and program management functions.
• Monitor operational performance metricsincluding schedule adherence, labor efficiency, productivity, qualityperformance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and communicate operationalpriorities, resource requirements, and production targets to ensure successfulexecution of aircraft completion milestones.
• Partner with Planning and MaterialsManagement teams to ensure material availability, production readiness, andeffective management of critical path activities.
• Collaborate with Program Management toproactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and operationalchallenges impacting aircraft delivery.
• Lead workforce planning activities, ensuringproper staffing levels, labor utilization, and resource allocation acrossoperational departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiativesfocused on reducing lead times, improving workflow efficiency, eliminatingwaste, and increasing operational effectiveness.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing principles andoperational excellence initiatives throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations,company procedures, quality requirements, safety standards, and customerexpectations.
• Partner with department leaders to developand implement corrective actions related to quality escapes, schedule delays,productivity challenges, and operational inefficiencies.
• Monitor departmental budgets, laborperformance, and operational costs to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
• Support the development and implementationof operational policies, procedures, and standard work processes.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthlyoperational review meetings to communicate performance, risks, opportunities,and recovery plans.
• Develop, coach, and mentor operationalleaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, accountability, and employeeengagement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork,accountability, safety, quality, and customer focus throughout theorganization.
• Support customer visits, aircraft reviews,and executive-level operational reporting as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education andExperience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, OperationsManagement, Aviation Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or arelated field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experiencein aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, aircraft completions, MRO, or a relatedoperational environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experiencemanaging production, operations, planning, materials, or cross-functionalteams.
• Experience leading complex operationalprograms involving multiple departments and competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of aircraftcompletions, aviation manufacturing, MRO operations, or highly regulatedproduction environments preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing operationalperformance, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, and continuous improvementinitiatives.
• Ability to read and interpret engineeringdocumentation, production schedules, and operational performance metrics.
• Ability to read, write, speak, andunderstand the English language.

Required Skills and Abilities
• Strong operational leadership skills withthe ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced productionenvironment.
• Extensive knowledge of productionoperations, planning, scheduling, materials management, and aircraft completionprocesses.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operationalperformance improvements and achieve aggressive delivery commitments.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing,continuous improvement methodologies, and operational excellence principles.
• Excellent problem-solving anddecision-making skills with the ability to balance customer, operational, andfinancial priorities.

• Ability to identify operational risks andimplement effective mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional communication, leadership,coaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and project managementskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERPsystems, production management software, and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to communicate in an assertive yetprofessional, motivating, and tactful manner.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality,customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally as required.

Work Environment

This position is based in an aircraft hangarenvironment and may involve:
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weatherconditions
• Loud noise levels
• Use of heavy machinery and specialized tools
• Potential contact with chemicals orhazardous materials
• Working in confined aircraft interior spaces
