Full Job Description
Are you a strong clinical leader who thrives in fast-paced, community-based mental health care? We are seeking an ACT Team Leader in Norfolk, VA supporting the Tidewater region to guide and support a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.

In this role, you will ensure individuals with complex mental health needs receive consistent, compassionate, and coordinated care in the community. You will lead a team that makes a meaningful impact every day while balancing clinical leadership, direct service delivery, and operational oversight.

The ACT Team Leader oversees daily clinical operations and provides guidance to a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.

Earn $89,793.60/year , plus mileage reimbursement.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, plus rotating on-call coverage on consecutive days and weekend community coverage.

Required Experience
  • Licensed or license-eligible as an LPC, LCSW, LMHP, or LMHP-R.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counselor Education.
  • Three years of experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness.
  • Valid Driver's Licenses and access to own vehicle. The role requires travel across the Tidewater region to provide support.

Preferred Experience
  • Supervisory and program management experience is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Experience with a co-occurring population preferred.
