Our client is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the operations of a premier Class A luxury apartment community. This leadership role is responsible for driving occupancy, maximizing revenue, leading a high-performing onsite team, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. The ideal candidate has managed large luxury communities, understands the business side of multifamily operations, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Candidates MUST have experience working with Jersey City, NJ or application will not be considered for this role.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the daily operations of a luxury multifamily community while maintaining the highest standards for property appearance and resident satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop leasing, administrative, and maintenance teams to achieve occupancy, retention, and financial goals.
• Manage operating budgets, review financial performance, and identify opportunities to increase revenue while controlling expenses.
• Develop pricing and leasing strategies based on market trends, competitive analysis, and occupancy goals.
• Support lease-up efforts, new construction deliveries, or community stabilization initiatives when applicable.
• Coordinate capital improvement projects and oversee vendor and contractor performance.
• Ensure apartments, amenities, and common areas are maintained to luxury standards.
• Resolve resident concerns professionally while promoting an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and all applicable laws.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience managing a Class A luxury apartment community with approximately 400 or more units.
• Strong background in financial management, budgeting, revenue optimization, and occupancy planning.
• Experience leading large onsite teams and developing high-performing employees.
• Previous lease-up, new development, or asset stabilization experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar property management software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
