Full Job Description
About the role

E2B has a large and growing community of developers, open-source contributors, and paying customers. Many of these users have never spoken with our team but they are already building with E2B, participating in our ecosystem, and signaling where demand is emerging.

As our Community & Events Marketing Manager, you'll own E2B's developer community across Discord, GitHub, forums, and in-person meetups. You'll also build a portfolio of small, technical, high-intent events including workshops, hands-on builds, dinners, hackathons, and ecosystem activations.

This is not a brand-awareness-only role. You'll be responsible for creating meaningful developer experiences and connecting those experiences to qualified pipeline. You'll work closely with Growth Engineering, Sales, and Content to identify high-intent accounts, route opportunities, and measure which programs deserve further investment.

What you'll do

Own E2B's developer community. Run programming and moderation across Discord, GitHub, forums, and other community channels. Build systems that surface useful feedback, high-intent users, and emerging use cases.

Build a portfolio of technical events. Produce workshops, hands-on builds, technical dinners, hackathons, and other focused events for developers building AI agents.

Create an event-to-opportunity engine. Define the handoff from community or event engagement to Sales, including qualification criteria, account mapping, follow-up ownership, and clear SLAs established before each event.

Grow E2B's ecosystem presence. Develop programs with agent frameworks, open-source runtimes, infrastructure partners, and communities where E2B's users already spend time.

Map community activity to accounts. Partner with Growth Engineering to connect community identities and event participation to company and account-level signals.

Measure commercial impact. Track event-sourced accepted opportunities, cost per accepted opportunity, community-active-to-PQL conversion, pipeline contribution, and engagement across strategic accounts.

Run disciplined experiments. Test each format against a defined cost and conversion target. Scale what works, improve what shows promise, and stop programs that don't produce results.

Build the community feedback loop. Bring structured qualitative feedback into product, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions.

What we're looking for

3-6 years of experience in community, field marketing, events, developer marketing, or a related role for a technical product.

Experience running events with a real budget and a measurable pipeline or revenue target-not only attendance or brand-awareness goals.

A track record of building or growing technical communities across channels such as Discord, GitHub, forums, meetups, hackathons, or developer conferences.

Strong program-management skills. You can manage several event formats, partners, vendors, budgets, and follow-up motions without losing operational rigor.

Comfort with metrics and experimentation. You can define a hypothesis, set a target, measure results against a baseline, and make a clear decision about whether to repeat a program.

Credibility with developers. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should understand technical audiences, ask informed questions, and avoid turning every interaction into a sales pitch.

Strong cross-functional instincts. You can work closely with Sales, Growth Engineering, Content, and Product while maintaining clear ownership.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Excited to work in person from our San Francisco office.

Nice-to-have

Experience marketing infrastructure, developer tools, open-source software, AI products, or usage-based SaaS.

Familiarity with the AI-agent ecosystem, including agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.

Experience connecting community identities and product usage to CRM accounts or product-qualified leads.

Existing relationships across developer communities, technical event organizers, or the AI infrastructure ecosystem.

Experience creating technical content, moderating technical discussions, or supporting hands-on developer workshops.
