What it's aboutAs Communications Manager, you will help shape Partners Group's voice in the US by driving proactive media engagement and elevating our investment perspectives in the market. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with senior spokespeople and stakeholders across the firm to turn timely themes-across private markets and beyond-into standout coverage across trade and broadcast media. You will also contribute to global investment communications and topic development, supporting Partners Group's long-term, responsible approach to value creation.
Key responsibilities- Lead PR outreach and strategy for Partners Group thought leadership, including the Investment Strategy Office.
- Manage broadcast/TV outreach and booking for Partners Group spokespeople in the US.
- Manage relationships across Partners Group in the US to source proactive media opportunities and coverage angles.
- Build and maintain relationships with key trade publications and journalists in New York.
- Act as PR manager for key New York spokespeople, sourcing interview opportunities and executing supporting outreach.
- Over time, own key strategic US PR topics (e.g., private markets access within 401(k)/retirement), including narrative development and outreach planning.
- Contribute to global investment communications initiatives, ensuring alignment across messages and timing.
- Contribute to global social media topic sourcing in partnership with marketing teams to amplify thought leadership.
What we expect- Demonstrated ability gained through 3-5 years of financial services PR experience; PR agency experience is preferred.
- Confidence communicating with and advising stakeholders across all levels-internally and externally.
- Strong ownership mindset with proven project management skills and the ability to run multiple processes in parallel.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling content.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with curiosity and a desire to learn and grow.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to solve problems with a client-focused mindset and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Private markets knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification/experience).

- Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $95,000 - 110,000, and a performance-based bonus are additional parts of the total compensation package
