What will you do?

As a member of Siemens Canada Communications team, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business and build our brand.
  • Digital Industries and Digital Industries Software Communications Business Partner
    • Responsible for planning, developing and implementing communication strategy and plans
    • Partner with Executive level leadership to advise of communication strategies and implementation.
    • Provides internal and external communications materials to promote and support objectives and business goals of the organization
    • Work strategically and collaboratively with executives and stakeholders, to develop and project manage successful initiatives
    • Implements marketing and communication functions across multi-channels. eg. events, online, etc.
    • Responsible for developing, monitoring and managing budget and metrics
  • Social Media Coordinator
    • Responsible for Siemens Canada's social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
    • Proficient in social media management tools such as Sprinklr
    • Support the President and CEO with social media activities
    • Developing and implementing social media strategy and plans
    • Works closely with the Content and Events team to manage editorial calendar
    • Manages budget and metrics with recommendation analyses

Full-time, hybrid - must be local to drive into the Siemens Canada Oakville office as required.

What will you need to succeed?
  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field essential
  • Over 5 years of successful experience in marketing and communications, including social media essential, B2B marketing or communications experience required
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience working with executive management and the business, being a trusted partner
  • Highly skilled in social media and content management tools, digitally-minded
  • Experience working in a large matrix organization preferred
  • Bilingualism English and French is an asset
  • Experience / knowledge in the industry sector is an asset
  • Professional in all Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat Tools

Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 80,000 CAD - $ 95,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.
