Job Title: Communications and Content Manager

Location: Cambridge, ON | On-site

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $110,000-$120,000.00

The Position:

The Communications, Content and Brand Manager is responsible for planning and executing strategies that cement Eclipse's position as a leader in factory automation solutions to accelerate brand growth. The incumbent will plan and manage projects, work within a team environment, ignite change, lead conversations, strengthen the Eclipse brand, and propel awareness about the spectrum of our capabilities to multiple stakeholders internally and externally. This individual will strategize, plan, and execute initiatives that drive brand visibility, enhance communication efforts, and support our overall business objectives while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture. In the future state, this role will play a key role in the development and operationalization of an AI-native content capability at Eclipse Automation. The incumbent will contribute to establishing scalable content processes, tools, and governance frameworks, supporting the creation of standardized practices designed to enhance effectiveness, consistency, and long-term sustainability of the organization's content strategy.

What You'll Be Doing:

Technical:

  • Ability to execute, research, and leverage insights to develop market narratives, stories and messaging and translate for the different internal & external audiences and distribution.
  • Proven experience working with external writers, developing briefs and developing content for various mediums - website, social, whitepapers, playbooks, sales pitch decks, eBooks, landing pages, webinars and events.
  • Strategize digital content and social media to increase brand awareness and consideration.
  • Some level of proficiency with tools such as: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Lovable, Notebook LLM, etc.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to develop, create, and curate high-quality, engaging content across Eclipse's owned, paid, and earned media channels. Working closely with the team to create a communications measurement and evaluation framework.
  • Build a process to capture customer stories and use cases to highlight the value of Eclipse Automation delivers.
  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies to ensure effective execution of communication strategies.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive messaging frameworks and craft high-quality written and video content for internal and external audiences.
  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for speaker engagements and award submissions that will enhance the visibility of the product and company, positioning Eclipse Automation as a leader in the industry.
  • Establish and define strategic guardrails and content frameworks for each content series at the planning stage. Partner with Eclipse's in-house technical teams to design and implement AI-enabled workflows and agent-based solutions to support efficient, end-to-end content production.


Leadership:
  • Promote positive relations between departments and with partners, customers, vendors, and distributors.
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations which support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously source new innovative solutions for corporate competitiveness.
  • Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship for direct reports to develop new skills and look for growth opportunities.
  • Meet individually, on a regular cadence with each direct report to discuss career goals, current roadblocks, project success and lessons learned.


Project Execution:
  • Engage and collaborate in a team environment, actively participating and driving participation in group meetings.
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met, notifying the appropriate departments/stakeholders if milestones are not met or at risk.
  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct of Code.
  • Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business
  • Complete other duties and projects assigned


Travel:
  • Expectation of travel to Eclipse locations is less than 10% of time, however, may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet organizational needs


What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Design or equivalent


Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing content strategy and roadmap. Producing content series.
  • Proven experience in developing media pitches.
  • Ability to provide brand-compliant direction to graphic designers, photographers and other vendors.
  • Proficiency in developing content for multi-platform communications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Monday.com
