About the role

We're looking for a Communications Advisor II to join our Claims Communications team. You'll think beyond the message - connecting the dots between business strategy, organizational change, and the employee experience to deliver communications that move people and priorities forward. Above all, you're an exceptional writer: someone who turns complex ideas into clear, compelling content that resonates. You see the big picture, communicate with purpose, and are excited about what's next.

What you'll do here:

  • Translate business strategy into clear, integrated communication plans that inform, align, and engage internal audiences.
  • Think holistically about how communications fit into the broader organizational narrative - connecting projects, priorities, and people.
  • Craft sharp, purposeful content across a variety of formats and channels - from leadership messages to change communications to newsletters.
  • Provide strategic counsel to leaders and partners, helping shape approaches that drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Structure complex communications challenges, draw on data and audience insights, and deliver content that supports business objectives.
  • Ensure all communications reinforce a consistent brand voice and organizational direction.
  • Collaborate with peers to share ideas, solve problems, and elevate the team's overall communications practice.
  • Support event planning and execution (materials, logistics, resources, budgets).

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, mass media, editing, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 3-4 years of communications experience – with a demonstrated ability to think strategically, not just tactically.
  • An exceptional writer: you craft clear, compelling, and polished content independently, and you take pride in the quality of every word.
  • Strong ability to see the big picture: you understand how individual communications fit into larger organizational goals.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; collaborative, proactive, and organized.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools.
  • Assets: Adobe Campaign; web/digital/multimedia trends; insurance industry knowledge;
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.

Ready to make a meaningful impact? Apply now to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of insurance.
