COMMISSIONING SUPERINTENDENT
SUMMARY
The Commissioning Superintendent is responsible for overseeing general safety, productivity, schedule, testing, and commissioning of utility level solar generation facilities. This position reports to the Commissioning Manager, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate.
This is a hybrid position , you will work out of your home office and the project s ites. Working hours shall be determined based on project requirements and business needs, in consultation with the employee's supervisor . This position is expected to travel up to 50 %.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs solar commissioning personnel and/or subcontractors to achieve completion of the project
- Support the project team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities
- Follow and implement the company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policy;
- Coordinate and implement resources and activities necessary to maintain safety and quality
- Create and maintain commissioning documentation in accordance with contract requirements
- Assure that all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance
- Coordination with supplier testing & commissioning teams
- Identify testing required per project scope of work and ITP
- Communication with engineering parties to meet commissioning requirements
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience supporting the construction of major projects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility-scale construction projects
- Solar PV, and/or BESS project commissioning experience
- Experience with Procore or comparable project management tool
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings and manuals of installation and design technical packages
- Ability to professionally interact with clients and outside testing agencies/subcontractors
- Experience operating solar generation facility electrical equipment
- Experience with energization procedures and operations of substation equipment

- Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far
- Climb: occasionally ascends/descends on stairway to get to office upper and lower floors
- Travel: up to 50 % as needed

- Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shop
