We are currently looking for a Commissioning PM for our Houston, TX location.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities: Provides leadership to company and contract personnel to support commissioning activities for a variety of midstream pipeline and facility projects; working project manager; assist with developing / maintaining / and executing commissioning ITRs and procedures; assist with executing the development of facility operating procedures; ensure project compliance with regulatory and applicable industry codes (NEC, API, ASME, ANSI, CFR 192/195, and others); work with project execution teams to review design documents; work with project teams and procurement to identify inspection and testing requirements for engineered equipment; develop and manage FAT testing procedures and processes for engineered equipment; assist with implementation and tracking of commissioning progress and reporting; advise Commissioning Manager about project level commissioning; strong focus on developing and implementing commissioning tools and processes to improve process efficiency; must lead Commissioning Team meetings; supervise performance testing, and assist with strategic planning.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the commissioning of complex facility projects;
  • Strong technical writing capabilities required to draft Commissioning procedures, plans, and other technical documents;
  • Experience with the interpretation and review of P&ID's and Electrical drawings;
  • Strong skill level in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project;
  • Well organized with a high degree of initiative and motivation, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work positively and effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record


PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience managing a dynamic team of people;
  • Experience with project scheduling;
  • Experience with electrical and instrument troubleshooting;


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Technical training in Instrument / Electrical or relevant years of field experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors in an engineering, construction, project management, or related field
