Full Job Description
The Commissioning Project Engineer executes commissioning activities across multiple project sites within the region, ensuring systems perform as intended from installation through functional testing.

This is a hands-on role combining fieldwork and technical analysis, with a strong emphasis on BMS/controls integration and system performance.

Key responsibilities:
  • Perform field validation, functional testing, and system troubleshooting
  • Support commissioning of BMS and building controls systems, including sequences of operation and integration
  • Review design documents, submittals, and construction progress
  • Lead and participate in commissioning meetings, reporting, and documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical and controls-related issues
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and budget targets

This role requires regular regional travel between project sites and adaptability to fast-paced project environments.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, HVACR, Construction Management, OR equivalent hands-on experience from a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, controls/BMS technician)
  • 5+ years in construction, commissioning, MEP systems, BMS/controls, or skilled trade experience in similar systems

Preferred Qualifications

    Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000
