**This jobsite is based in Pampa TX. We pay for travel expenses.**

Job Description:

Meade has a job opportunity for a Commissioning Tech to commission mission critical data center electrical and mechanical equipment systems for a world class technology company. This commissioning role will assist in the commissioning process for power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies, automatic transfer switches, PDU's and medium voltage switchgear, chilled water systems, DDC controls, and critical DX HVAC equipment. The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical power systems or equivalent industry experience with strong communication and leadership skills.

This position will require a minimum of 100% travel.

Job Duties:
  • Assist with developing, overseeing, and writing commissioning policies, scripts and procedures.
  • Validate equipment installations.
  • Perform construction observations and develop thorough test plans.
  • Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and specifications.
  • Review and analyze data and prepare technical reports.
  • Review design documents and equipment submittals.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of industry experience with a strong emphasis in data centers preferred.
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines, two (2) year degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.
  • Passion for leading in moments of ambiguity, particularly in the realm of construction and electrical operational problems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Top-notch organization in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office products is critical.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
  • Experience conducting quality control of electrical construction documents.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD. Bluebeam experience a plus.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional) are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

This jobsite is located in Pampa, TX; however, this position is available to candidates residing in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV. Compensation and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may vary based on location and applicable laws. The pay range for this position will be provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs.

The estimate pay ranges for this role are as follows:
  • Virginia: $99,000-$122,700
  • Washington: $103,700-$128,600
