SUMMARY:

We are hiring a CX Engineer to support commissioning, testing documentation, system validation, issue tracking & turnover activities on mission critical data center projects.

This role will work closely with construction, QA/QC, startup, testing vendors & owner teams to ensure systems are tested, documented, tracked, validated & turned over correctly.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical experience in commissioning workflows, electrical systems, startup documentation, document control, issue management & mission critical environments.

KEY DUTIES:
  • Maintain and manage QC/QA/CX documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, reports, and pre-energization checklists
  • Track quality activities and testing progress in CX Alloy, ensuring all required information is uploaded, updated, and accurate
  • Review NETA reports, upload results into CX Alloy, and follow up with testers to confirm completion
  • Monitor open issues and NCRs, track resolutions, and communicate status updates to project teams
  • Support scheduling and coordination of QC/QA/CX technicians and external testers
  • Prepare daily and weekly quality reports, summaries, and root cause analyses for leadership review
  • Ensure proper labeling, document control, and version management for all project quality files
  • Provide administrative support for inspections (2.1, 2.2) by logging, tracking, and distributing documentation
  • Communicate quality control requirements and documentation needs to internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Assist with training coordination and documentation for QC/QA/CX staff and construction teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of commissioning, electrical construction, startup, QA/QC or turnover experience.
  • Experience on data center, mission critical, industrial or large commercial electrical projects.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning process, turnover workflow, inspection tracking & system documentation.
  • Ability to read one-lines, test procedures, construction documents & testing reports.
  • Experience with CX platforms, QA/QC tracking tools or turnover software, especially CX Alloy.
  • Generator, switchgear, UPS & critical power systems knowledge.
  • Familiarity with NETA testing processes, reports & coordination workflows.
  • Experience tracking torque, megger, continuity, labeling, anchor inspections & pre-energization documentation on active projects.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to work in extreme indoor and outdoor environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, sleet, snow)
  • Must be able to use construction-site sanitary facilities (e.g., portable toilets)
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment at all times on site (helmet, safety glasses, boots, and gloves at all times; respirator when required)
  • Must be able to safely climb and work from ladders and stairs
  • Must be able to safely operate typical jobsite equipment to access work areas (scissor lift, boom lift)
  • Must be able to crawl, stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, reach, and routinely lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel between job sites and work extended or off-shift hours as project needs require

COMPENSATION

The starting annual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible benefits.
