Full Job Description
Position: Commissioning Assistant Project Manager
Reports to: Commissioning Project Manager
Location: Central Ohio
Salary Range: $65,000 - $110,000

Superior is looking for a Commissioning Assistant Project Manager who will help make on-site operations more efficient and play a key role in supporting our Quality Assurance and Commissioning team. This role is focused on documentation management, readiness tracking, turnover package assembly, and commissioning coordination, while developing the technical and operational foundation required to grow into a Commissioning Project Manager.

This role is based on a jobsite and supports projects across Central Ohio with jobsite assignment based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the build out of commissioning management softwareAssist in assembling turnover documentation packages
  • Manage checklist and documentation tracking logsMaintain logs for deficiencies, open items, and punch list status
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of startup and testing activities
  • Track commissioning-related constraints and potential risks
  • Participate in commissioning meetings and capture action items
  • Work directly with field electricians, QA inspectors, and commissioning engineers
  • Support resolution tracking of field-identified quality issues
  • Facilitate communication between engineering and field operations
  • Participate in site walks to develop an understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution

Your Expertise
  • Required: You have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field experience
  • Required: You have at least 2 years of experience in commercial construction, QA/QC, commissioning support, or project coordination
  • Required: You are familiar with Microsoft Office, construction management software, or other applicable systems
  • Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Bonus Points: You have experience in electrical construction
  • Bonus Points: You are familiar with electrical distribution systems
