Position Overview

The Commissioning Agent is responsible for testing and commissioning Nextpower tracker installations, providing technical expertise, and supporting customers throughout the commissioning and maintenance process. This role helps build customer loyalty by optimizing system performance, resolving technical issues, and delivering high-quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Test and commission Nextpower tracker installations.
  • Provide tracker controller expertise and support the controller commissioning process and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Deliver technical support to Nextpower customers worldwide, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Provide product and system expertise to help customers maximize the value and performance of their Nextpower installations.
  • Manage the controller commissioning and customer acceptance process to support warranty activation.
  • Play a key role in the qualification of third-party operations and maintenance providers.
  • Support product development, sales, and marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Partner closely with the Technical Services team to perform field repairs and document technical issues.
  • Serve as an internal customer advocate by communicating customer needs, concerns, and feedback to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain the ability to carry up to a $2,000 balance on a personal credit card for reimbursable travel expenses.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in power generation and commissioning.
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong understanding of technical and customer support for utility-scale and distributed generation projects.
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting power-generation systems.
  • Extensive experience working with various control systems.
