  • Valid driver’s license and state-required vehicle insurance.

We are hiring for a Commissioning Agent in our Mission Critical Market Space in the following states: Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona

 

As a Commissioning Agent in our Mission Critical Market Space, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. You will help us empower our data center clients to trust in the reliability of their mission critical systems to preserve data, protect assets, and save lives.  You’ll also lead efforts to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and help operators improve their ability to safely and effectively manage the data center.  You will work in a multi-disciplined and cross-trained team of commissioning professionals in a team-oriented atmosphere.  Here at AEI, we value our strong team culture and the mantra that we are better together.  You will multi-task projects in collaboration with others.  

 

 

Why We Need You:

In this role, you will be responsible for resolving commissioning challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing the Level 1 – 5 commissioning process delivery set forth in Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specifications. You will oversee and execute the quality observation and testing in the field.   

 

 

 Expertise of our most successful Commissioning Agent:

  • Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for data center or mission critical facilities.
  • Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate design or construction experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or controls systems.
  • General understanding of building systems across all design disciplines.  A more detailed understanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and controls desired.
  • Ability to learn to interpret guidelines, standards, and best practices related to data center construction.
  • Ability to become proficient with software programs for business as well as could-based commissioning and construction:
    • Microsoft Word, Excel
    • CxAlloy
    • Autodesk BIM360, ACCBuild, and similar.
  • Ability to travel as required by the project.  We do not promote long-term deployments to site.
  • Willingness to become OSHA certified.
  • Valid driver’s license and state required vehicle insurance.

  • Commissioning certification with a nationally recognized professional body.

  • Ability to apply safety training to specific construction situations and avoid unsafe work environments and promote quality installation.
  • Ability to understand and safely use test and measurement equipment and common tools.
