Role PurposeThe Commercial System Specialist supports the effective use, adoption, and reporting of commercial systems . This role serves as the first point of contact for system usage questions, reporting and dashboard support, and user enablement, workflow management by customer, ensuring consistent data, scalable reporting, and high system adoption across the PCS organization.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary support contact for Salesforce users, responding to questions related to: System navigation, access and usage
- Standard commercial/sales processes across the business including quotation process through salesforce with help from AM, CEx, PLM's, deal desk groups
- Report, dashboard and workflow interpretation
- Provide onboarding and ongoing enablement for new and existing users, developing and maintaining user guides, job aids, and training materials
- Triage user requests and escalate complex system design or automation issues as needed with Salesforce and IT teams
- Design, Build, modify, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards based on defined requirements, ensuring report consistency, usability, and alignment with defined KPIs
- Support recurring reporting needs for leadership
- Coordinate linkage of windchill, project link, Creo view (owned by tech) with salesforce opportunities and quotation request
Required Education- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Salesforce
- Strong understanding of sales processes and commercial performance metrics
- Experience supporting a broad user base with varying technical skill levels
Desired Experiences- Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Business Analytics
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience supporting a global or matrixed sales organization
This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $75,902.00 - $104,366.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
