About You:You have lived and breathed the casino world. You know who the real decision-makers are, how casinos buy technology, and what keeps operators up at night. You are fluent in the language of casino hotel technology - from Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and Hotel/Casino Booking Engines to Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and Casino Loyalty Platforms - and you understand how these systems connect, where complexity lives, and what it takes to make them work together.
You are equally comfortable building out an integration data flow diagram as you are sitting across from a VP of Revenue Management, IT, or Sales discussing strategy. You communicate with confidence at every level of an organization, from technical stakeholders to senior executives, and you know how to build trust quickly in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
You thrive in a lean team where you have real ownership. You don't wait to be told what needs doing - you identify gaps, propose solutions, and follow through. You are self-directed, highly organized, and genuinely curious about how technology shapes the guest and operator experience. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be at the center of a growing global casino practice, with the opportunity to shape how SHR shows up in one of the most dynamic segments in hospitality.
Day-to-day, you will:- Support casino sales globally, initially shadowing and progressively owning sections of the conversation, particularly around technical integrations, casino functionality, and key competitor differentiators.
- Track casino market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and bring structured input to go-to-market conversations.
- Build relationships with strategic partners in the casino hotel space, from technology partners to consultants and industry organizations.
- Form part of the Casino squad, enabling cross-collaboration between CS, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure SHR is positioned for global expansion with casino hotels.
- Own casino training for the sales team, covering how to sell to casino customers, competitor and industry updates, and SHR product updates for new casino integrations and features.
- Develop, own, and maintain the Casino Success Playbook - the definitive internal guide to what makes casino customers different, common failure patterns, integration complexity, and repeatable processes for onboarding, customer success, renewals, and technical support.
- Own the gap analysis between what casino customers need and what SHR's current documentation and training covers, and advance the roadmap to close those gaps in partnership with Product, Engineering, and the training team.
- Take on ad hoc strategic projects assigned by the VP as the role grows.
Your skills and experiences might also include:Required- 5+ years of experience in a casino hotel technology environment, spanning pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a commercial role requiring deep product and integration knowledge.
- Casino industry background with a deep understanding of casino operations, the buying process, and who the real decision-makers are. Able to speak credibly to casino operators from sales to IT without needing a translator.
- Hotel technology experience across casino hotels, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Booking Engines, and Casino Player Portals.
- Technical integration literacy - not required to be a developer, but able to engage with technical stakeholders, read an integration spec, and discuss data flows between systems.
- Comfort in customer-facing environments, representing SHR to casino hotel operators at all levels and supporting or collaborating with sales teams on complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written documentation, including playbooks, process guides, SOWs, or training materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across Sales, Professional Services, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.
Preferred- Experience managing external vendors or technology partners.
- Background writing technical documents such as data flow diagrams or Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering capacity, scoping technical integrations for enterprise customers.
- Experience managing projects across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with commercial tools including Salesforce, Claude (AI), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for pipeline management, research, and outreach.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship is required for this opportunity.
