Full Job Description

The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who will bring deep customer and market knowledge to accelerate the work our product team is already doing. This role is built for someone who has spent real time with recordkeepers, RIAs, and plan sponsors whether in sales, sales support, or a closely adjacent function and understands how to turn what the field is telling us into product decisions.

You'll work inside an existing product team, taking ownership of a defined piece of the roadmap rather than operating as a free-floating advisor. You'll partner closely with product, engineering, and design, and just as closely with sales and go-to-market, to make sure what we build actually reaches the right clients and drives adoption.

This position is based in our Chicago office and follows a hybrid model with a minimum of four days onsite. We prioritize in-person collaboration because we've found it strengthens creative quality, alignment, and team momentum.

What You'll Do

  • Own a structured process for capturing field feedback from recordkeepers, RIAs, and sponsors, and translate it into clear, prioritized product input for the team
  • Take ownership of specific product initiatives each quarter working directly in the backlog alongside other PMs, not adjacent to it
  • Partner with sales and go-to-market on launch plans for new features, ensuring enablement and adoption are built in from day one, not added after the fact
  • Act as a technical/investment subject matter expert on large sales opportunities and support retention efforts for our most complex clients
  • Explore how AI can improve product experience, workflows, and client outcomes, and help bring practical AI-assisted tools to the broader team
  • Serve as an external voice for the business through research, writing, speaking, and client engagements
  • Partner with Client Service and Client Solutions to incorporate client feedback into the product

What We're Looking For:

  • Real, established relationships across sales/field teams serving recordkeepers, RIAs, and plan sponsors. Inside sales experience is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of retirement plan products, methodology, and the managed accounts landscape
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in product management, sales enablement, or a closely related function
  • A track record of driving outcomes inside a collaborative team structure, not just individually
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A bachelor's degree required
