Full Job Description
National Fuel is currently seeking a Commercial Development Representative for an outstanding career opportunity in our Commercial Services department located at our corporate headquarters in Williamsville, NY. As a member of the National Fuel team, you will enjoy an exciting and challenging work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, including utilities, producers, marketers, end users, and power generators, while actively pursuing new business opportunities at the local, regional, and national levels
  • Manage the marketing and sales of pipeline transportation and storage services, including the commercialization of existing capacity and development of growth opportunities
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, high-quality customer service, and regular in-person engagement
  • Negotiate contractual agreements, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support strategies to maximize long- and short-term revenue, working collaboratively to capture market opportunities
  • Develop and advance pipeline expansion projects, including identifying new market opportunities and potential anchor shippers
  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities within key sectors, including power generation and data centers
  • Represent the company within the energy industry through active participation in conferences, workshops, and other professional networking events
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable FERC regulations through required training and adherence to internal policies and procedures
  • Provide ongoing customer support, including off-hours and weekend coverage as needed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to establish and nurture Energy Industry contacts and clients
  • Availability for periodic travel


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA
  • Understanding of FERC regulated pipeline tariffs, rates, services and facilities
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and business acumen
  • Minimum five years of relevant natural gas industry experience


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$125,000

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
