Full Job Description
The Commercial Data Analyst position reports to the Director of Commercial Operations and Customer Experience, with meaningful interaction with Commercial Leadership, and internal and external sales reps. The role will provide sales support, reporting and analytics to the customer-facing teams to help drive profitable growth. The analyst will use IT systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI to generate reports and dashboards to assist in making business and customer-related decisions. Key requirements for success: effective communication skills, relationship building with internal and external business partners, ability to professionally represent team objectives, and strong organizational skills.

Note that this position is based in Englewood, CO with potential for hybrid work environment.

Essential Functions:

Analysis & Reporting
  • Assist with inventory analysis, management, and routine reporting.
  • Organize, manage, analyze, and report on contract data and performance.
  • Manage customer data and provide analysis of performance.
  • Field requests and respond in a timely manner as well as providing follow-up as needed.
  • Create organizational dashboards and routinely report results.
  • Management of contract queue, assuring timely processing of contract requests.
  • Assist with projects related to commercial system development and integration.
  • Commercial reporting of data presented to Leiters Executive team and other key stakeholders.
  • Assigned new analysis and reporting requests based on business need.
  • Assist in analyzing customer purchase data using internal and external tools and communicating with the commercial teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate analytical tools and reporting, which provides meaningful decision-making perspectives for commercial team.
  • Develop business cases to help drive the decision-making process in support of major programs or initiatives.
  • Maintain broad awareness of both primary existing as well as potential new competitors.

Presentation
  • Communication to commercial team surrounding activities covered in analysis and reporting.
  • Assist Sales and Commercial Operations with the creation of presentations for periodic internal and customer business reviews.

General
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Necessary Skills:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years' experience in a commercial organization as an analyst, reporting, or contracting role preferred.
  • Healthcare/Pharma/Hospital industry experience is a plus. Ideally with product sales focus.
  • Proficient with Excel (Ex: pivot tables, Vlookup / Xlookup), PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to structure data in Microsoft Power BI and/or Dynamics to develop fact-based insights to better guide decision making.
