Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a good standing state bar license.
• 8+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts specifically within the solar energy sector.
• Proficient in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of solar inverter and battery supply agreements.
• Familiarity with energy project agreements and corporate governance is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external parties including customers and legal counsel.
• Demonstrated self-management capabilities with experience in handling competing deadlines.
• OEM experience with solar inverters or batteries is required.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and draft contracts including sales, service, and warranty agreements for solar technology.
• Advise on claims and disputes involving customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide compliance guidance regarding regulations, legal policies, and risk assessment for the business.
• Facilitate communication with outside counsel and customers as necessary.
• Support corporate governance and various legal matters within the organization.
• Manage relationships and tasks with outside legal counsel.
