  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting commercial contracts.

Basic Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent) and in good standing with a US state bar.
  • 6+ years of negotiating and drafting expertise in sophisticated commercial transactions including software licenses/SaaS, main service agreements, Statements of Work, professional services, and data privacy agreements.
  • Some travel required.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Proficient and comfortable using AI tools with a critical eye, applying sound legal judgment to validate and refine all AI-generated work.

  • Self-motivated and self-directed, capable of working with minimal direction (we promise not to hover).
  • Value the importance of teamwork and work collaboration (you know that "reply all" is a power to be used wisely).
  • Able to see the big picture (progress over perfection).
  • Adept at balancing conflicts between legal and business risks (you know the legal version of "choose your own adventure").
  • Comfortable engaging with a variety of teams, across all levels of the organization (because someone has to bridge the gap between "no" and "how").
