Job Description SummaryAs the Commercial Contract Specialist, you will support the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contract operations by maintaining customer and membership data, resolving customer inquiries, supporting audits, and ensuring contract compliance. This role requires strong customer service, communication, and relationship building skills, along with proficiency in SAP and Excel to manage data accurately and support business operations.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for GPO customer inquiries, escalations, and audit requests.
- Maintain accurate GPO customer and membership data in SAP and related systems.
- Support implementation and maintenance of GPO agreements, pricing updates, and compliance activities.
- Partner with internal teams and outsourced resources to resolve contract, chargeback, and membership related issues.
- Support audits, reporting, and operational activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain current versions of all SOPs and Guide sheets related to GPO activities
- Lead cross-training on GPO related activities to ensure appropriate coverage within team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of demonstrated experience in healthcare customer support or High School Diploma / GED with 7+ years of relevant experience in contract administration, or healthcare operations experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- General knowledge of SAP and contract related processes.
- Experience working with GPOs, healthcare contracting, or life sciences organizations.
- Familiarity with GPO portals, membership rosters, and compliance processes.
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar business systems.
- Knowledge of GPO Rosters, Member Centric and Definitive Healthcare websites

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $78,400.00-$117,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
