Full Job Description
The Position

As the Commercial Contract Lead reporting directly to the Commercial Contracting Director, you are the Finance & Administration partner to the Provincial Healthcare Leader and regional squads.

Guided by your knowledge of the public tendering process you will be the Face of Roche to the key account Procurement Leaders in the Province. You will use your financial acumen to provide operational support as it relates to end-to-end contract management life cycle to the squad and provincial customers. You are a skilled negotiator and are committed to active listening to determine ways to deliver shared value for internal and external stakeholders.

The Opportunity:

  • Build and nurture trusted partnerships with procurement leaders in key provincial accounts to ensure an exceptional end-to-end contracting experience.

  • Collaborate closely with regional teams to design and monitor commercial strategies, including proposals, quotes, and total cost of ownership models.

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to support team decisions, highlighting pricing trends and contract performance metrics.

  • Proactively identify market opportunities and risks through public tender platforms and customer interactions, proposing strategies to optimize outcomes.

  • Scan the healthcare landscape for industry trends, proactively recommending ways to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Engage with internal contracting experts to share knowledge and align on best-practice commercial strategies.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business) and bring at least 5 years of experience in finance, general accounting, or contract management.

  • You have a proven track record in customer-facing roles, with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with senior procurement stakeholders.

  • You possess high proficiency in Microsoft Excel to model deals, with prior experience in enterprise software (like SAP) or professional accounting designations (CPA) being a strong advantage.

  • You thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities with ease, and embody a mindset focused on putting patients first and simplifying processes.

  • You are located in or close to the target provinces' time zones and are ready to travel up to 20% of the time to connect with customers and teams.

Qui vous êtes:

  • Vous détenez un baccalauréat (de préférence en commerce) et possédez au moins 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en finance, comptabilité ou gestion de contrats.

  • Vous avez une expérience confirmée dans un rôle en contact direct avec la clientèle, d'excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et la confiance nécessaire pour négocier avec des acheteurs de haut niveau..

  • Vous maîtrisez parfaitement Microsoft Excel pour modéliser les transactions; une expérience avec SAP ou un titre comptable professionnel (CPA) constitue un atout majeur.

  • Vous excellez sous pression, gérez facilement les priorités changeantes et incarnez un état d'esprit axé sur la priorité aux patients et la simplification radicale.

  • Vous résidez de préférence dans le même fuseau horaire que les provinces desservies et êtes disposé à voyager (environ 20 % du temps) pour aller à la rencontre de nos partenaires.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Laval is 90 312,00 and 118 534,50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
