What you will be doing:
  • Identify and qualify high-potential Ontario direct and indirect exporters, primarily advanced manufacturing and technology companies operating in, or capable of serving, the Defence and Security and aerospace sub-sector.
  • Act as a supply-chain expert by understanding qualified Ontario companies to prime contractors, tier-one suppliers, strategic buyers, procurement opportunities, and trusted domestic and international partners.
  • Develop and maintain a strong connection to the ecosystem in Ontario and across industry, government, financial institutions, associations, innovation organizations, and other partners to help clients enter, integrate into, and scale within supply chains.
  • Assess export financing, risk management, or other needs and match solutions to these needs.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, developing territory strategies and account plans.
  • Facilitate transactions and manage the progression of designated portfolio pipelines.
  • Execute projects, initiatives, and tasks related to market coverage mandates.
