Under the direction of the Counseling Services (CS) Director of Academic Satellites at Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS), this position performs professional patient/client care (individual, partner, group, crisis intervention, and case management) for primarily students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES). Consults with faculty and staff on issues relevant to student educational performance and emotional well-being. Works with CAES to coordinate mental health and wellness services and programming. Provides campus programs on education, multicultural concerns and prevention, may provide supervision and training to Counseling Services trainees in an APA accredited internship and APPIC-member postdoctoral program. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. Complies with professional requirements of SHCS and UC Davis policies and procedures as well as all State and Federal professional legal requirements. This position is an 11-month position, partial year career, subject to 1 month furlough and reduced time during quarter breaks.
