Collective Training Exercise Integrator (CTEI) Task Lead

***This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. ***

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a Collective Training Exercise Integrator Task Lead to support INSCOM’s Training Readiness and Exercise program. The CTEI Task Lead develops, maintains, and / or delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards. Provides lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system (i.e. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.). Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products. Develops / maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.

CTEI Task Lead Responsibilities Include: 

  • Serve as the designated CTEI Task Lead for assigned contract requirements and provide day-to-day leadership for assigned contractor personnel.

  • Exercise tasking authority over assigned CTEI contractor personnel in alignment with the contract, Program Manager guidance, customer priorities, and applicable policy. 

  • Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and leading the synchronization of all CTEI assigned activities, deliverables, training events, and personnel, including the reallocation of work to meet mission requirements, course schedules, deliverable milestones, and emergent customer needs.

  • Oversee, manages, and directs support to the development of exercises, scenarios, and mission‑essential tasks across the Total Army at all echelons, ensuring all training is operationally relevant, timelines are met, standards aligned, and readiness focused  to support the customer’s mission and operational needs. 

  • Establish clear performance expectations, communicate priorities, track workload and progress, identify resource constraints, and elevate risks or issues to the Program Manager and Government lead in a timely manner.

  • Provides oversight and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of multi-INT collection against requirements, using statistical, algorithmic, data mining, and visualization techniques to interpret ISR data sources. 

  • Leads review and validate work products, instructional materials, scenario products, reports, and deliverables before submission. Ensure products meet required standards and directly support the customer’s mission and operational requirements.

  • Provides routine professional counseling, mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned contractor personnel. Document performance concerns, recognize strong performance, identify development needs, and coordinate with the Program Manager on performance-management actions when necessary.

  • Oversees analysis to identify gaps in collection methods, models future intelligence collection scenarios, and assesses collection options, providing informed judgments and recommendations to improve multi‑INT collection effectiveness

  • Leads recurring team meetings, production reviews, planning sessions, and after-action reviews. Ensure team members understand requirements, receive timely feedback, and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborates with collection requirements managers, analytic elements, and consumers to ensure multi‑INT collection operations remain focused and efficiently employ allocated time and resources.

  • Provides direction and supervision to the CTEI Team on the employment of intelligence collection systems that generate timely, relevant insights, and produces analytic outputs that inform collectors and consumers of collection developments and operational relevance.

  • Collaborates across the IC to understand consumer intelligence needs and gaps to optimize developing collection operations tailored to the requirements of the customer. 

  • Supervises and oversees CTEI’s products to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of multi‑INT collection against requirements, and to assess the execution of collection plans and strategies that generate reliable intelligence relevant to consumer needs.

  • Provide routine professional counseling, mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned contractor personnel. Assess personnel qualifications and capability to perform assigned duties and maintain continuity of operations.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, cross-training, and readiness validation of contractor personnel. 

  • Lead a professional, accountable, and mission-focused work environment that promotes collaboration, disciplined execution, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

CTEI Task Lead Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of Army Military Intelligence experience.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years as an MOS 35 series
  • Proficiency in DCGS-A or DIS software applications.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of tactical Division-level and below in any Military Intelligence discipline
  • Exercise Observer/Controller/Trainer (OC/T) experience preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level task.
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
