Position OverviewWe are seeking a
Coatings Inspector with a
minimum NACE Level 2 or AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector certification for a long-term, full-time nested role. The ideal candidate will have a background in coatings and corrosion assessments, with additional fireproofing and rope access experience preferred. Qualifications- Required:
- NACE Level 2 or AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector
- Valid TWIC Card
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass DOE/DOT DA testing (hair follicle drug screen)
- Preferred:
- Fireproofing experience
- Rope Access Level 1 certification
Key Responsibilities- Conduct coating and/or corrosion assessments of tanks, equipment, piping, and structural components using PK's Intellispec software
- Perform quality assurance inspections at designated hold points during the blasting and coating process
- Document and report inspection findings to the facility Corrosion Engineer via Intellispec
- Assist facility corrosion engineer in future job scope development, verification and planning
- Provide technical support related to coating and fireproofing as needed
