Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for the position of 3RD Shift CRACKER Maintenance Leader "B" (N1)

This position, which reports to the Cracker Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily work activities of 3rd shift Cracker Maintenance personnel. The incumbent will prioritize assignments, troubleshoot problems, and follow up with Mechanics to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. In addition, the jobholder will maintain ongoing communication with Operations to discuss issues and provide updates on Maintenance activities. Other duties include maintaining the accuracy of the SAP Work Order System and serving as liaison for outside contractors.

  • Candidates for the position must possess a minimum of three years' previous Industrial Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment and demonstrate leadership abilities. Completion of Industrial Technology coursework is required. Additional qualifications include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as computer literacy and proficiency with the SAP System.


Approximate working hours for this position are 6:45pm to 7:00am on the cracker maintenance schedule. Because hours will vary with the production schedule, flexibility to work alternate schedules is required. Availability for overtime work is essential to support other leaders' absences and scheduled vacations. Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.

Candidate selection will be based on ability to perform the job, which will be determined on the basis of a personal interview. In addition the job candidate's safety record, disciplinary record, quality of work, peer relationships, job performance, previous work history and experience will also be taken into consideration. Only candidates meeting eligibility criteria in all categories will be invited to participate in the interview process.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $43.25 per hour.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
