In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision components critical to space exploration.
Essential Functions:- Program,Set up, and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality aerospace components.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines.
- Thorough understanding and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with Fanuc G-code programming and machine setup.
Preferred Additional Skills:- 5 + years preferred experience programming and operating CNC lathe machines.
- Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum.
- Knowledge of precision machining techniques.
- Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, gages etc
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Conceptual Skill, Process Improvement, Functional and technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination and Measuring Equipment.
- Self-Motivated, willing to grow with the organization.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
