Full Job Description
EBAD is seeking a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Moorpark, CA. The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing CNC machining equipment to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role supports production through preventative and predictive maintenance activities on CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, Swiss screw machines, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with CNC control systems, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Equipment Support:
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on CNC machining centers, lathes, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control system issues and implement corrective adjustments.
• Replace wear components such as belts, sensors, bearings, filters, and lubrication system parts as needed.
• Perform machine leveling, alignment verification, calibration, and accuracy checks to maintain machining precision.
• Interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and parts inventory.
• Coordinate with OEM service providers for major service events when required.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement:
• Support initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment issues and implement preventive measures.
• Assist in improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through proactive maintenance practices.
• Participate in 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Operational Support:
• Respond promptly to production downtime events to restore machine availability.
• Verify machine readiness following maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance to operators regarding proper equipment care and basic maintenance practices.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with precision measurement and machine alignment procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
