About the RoleWe are looking for a CMX Supervisor to join our Project and Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping manage the Contractor Management process here in Wilmington. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary contractor teams and internal/external subject-matter-experts (SMEs).
CMX Supervisor role here in Wilmington, CA is currently responsible for the onsite crane repairs and maintenance (excluding mobile cranes), elevator repairs and maintenance as well as assisting the refinery services on major projects when we are available. Scheduling work for the CMX group as well as mentoring our Designated Managers on site.
This role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual preferrable with a maintenance background as well as planning and scheduling experience with SAP.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be:
- Instrumental in assisting the CMX team in ensuring our contractors understand and follow our site rules and SOP's.

What you'll bring- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- 4-year college degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred 5+ years industrial maintenance background.
- Must be proficient in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office products.
- Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to safety, with strong leadership, supervisory and people skills.
- Must demonstrate a style of participative management in problem solving project implementation, integration, and continuous improvement.
- Must possess good communication skills - written and oral, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively interface with others.
- Driver's license
