Role Overview
As a Senior Manager, Operations Client Lead for Finance & Accounting, you will lead the delivery and transformation of Finance operations for a large client or portfolio of clients. Leveraging deep Finance functional expertise and operations leadership experience, you will shape business and operating models, strengthen client relationships, and deliver measurable value through technology- and AI-enabled solutions.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, oversee complex multi-year programs, lead high-performing global teams, and ensure services are delivered within agreed scope, quality, financial, and performance commitments. You will also play a key role in expanding the client relationship by identifying new opportunities, shaping solutions, and positioning Accenture as a strategic partner for Finance reinvention.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders, understand their evolving priorities, and translate business needs into practical operational and transformation solutions. Position Accenture as a strategic partner and influence the client’s long-term Finance and operational agenda.
Service Delivery and Performance:Lead delivery across agreed scope, service levels, quality standards, timelines, and commercial commitments. Establish effective governance, monitor performance, resolve escalations, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Technology- and AI-Enabled Transformation:Lead the adoption of automation, analytics, AI, and other digital capabilities that modernize Finance operations. Identify opportunities to redesign processes and ways of working through human and AI collaboration to improve productivity, service quality, controls, insights, and customer experience.
Complex Program and Risk Management:Oversee large-scale, multi-year programs across business and technology teams. Maintain clear governance, plans, dependencies, financial controls, and risk management practices to ensure delivery remains aligned with client objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:Lead, coach, and develop high-performing, multi-location teams. Set clear expectations, build leadership capability, create an inclusive working environment, and ensure the organization has the skills and capacity required for successful delivery and transformation.
Sales Growth and Account Expansion:Identify opportunities to expand services and introduce new capabilities aligned with client priorities. Lead or contribute to proposals, solution development, business cases, and commercial discussions that deliver measurable client value and profitable growth.
Innovation and Business Development:Bring forward leading practices, emerging technologies, and innovative operating models that improve Finance performance. Apply Finance expertise and thought leadership to shape forward-looking solutions and strengthen Accenture’s position in the market.
Collaboration and Governance:Work across client and Accenture teams to make informed decisions, resolve complex issues, share leading practices, and maintain effective operational and executive governance.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting operations, business process services, transformation, or a related field, including at least five years in a leadership role.
Minimum of 8 years of deep experience in one or more core Finance processes, including Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), and Order to Cash (OTC).
Preferred:
Experience leading complex, client-facing Finance operations, preferably across multiple locations, functions, or service areas.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, resolve complex operational issues, and influence strategic decisions.
Strong people leadership experience, including developing leaders, managing performance, building team capability, and creating inclusive, high-performance teams.
Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation or improvement programs across business and technology teams.
Working knowledge of automation, analytics, AI, and digital capabilities used to modernize Finance operations and improve business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, shape solutions, develop business cases, and contribute to proposals and commercial discussions.
Strong strategic thinking, financial and commercial acumen, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to balance long-term objectives with practical execution.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
