DESCRIPTIONUnder general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers and other staff. Adheres to all safety policies. Performs other related CLS functions as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Graduation from college with a major in a relevant field.
- Must have a current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or appropriate sub-specialty license issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health.
- Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Previous relevant experience.
- Blood Bank experience.
- At least two years of applicable clinical laboratory experience.
- Experience with SoftLab LIS and Epic.
- Experience with the following automated instrumentation Iris IChem\IQ, Sysmex XN and CS-2500, Siemens EXL, Ortho Vision.
- Generalist skills - Hematology / Chemistry
SPECIAL CONDITIONS- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and at various locations as necessary in accordance with operational needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $110,079 - $145,408 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $52.72 - $69.64
