Job Summary
The Manager, Cloud UCC Business Development will support promotion, sales, design, and global account engagement for video, voice and contact center solutions across Cisco, WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom, PEXIP, and Google platforms. This role is responsible for catalog management, channel development, deal enablement, and strategic collaboration within AVI-SPL.
This includes packaging video, voice, and contact center as well as network and security solutions across Cisco solution, products and services, supporting internal stakeholders, developing training and tools for the sales force, and managing service lifecycle initiatives.
The Manager will work with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation, adoption, and run rate growth for voice solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Catalog, Resource and Offer Management
- Preparation, development, and refinement of the AVI-SPL Cisco UCC solutions
- Package Cisco solutions, products and services.
- Package internal Managed Services products for Cisco life cycle management and fit for purpose Cisco Powered Cloud managed services.
- Package Cisco license schemas to accelerate transactions.
- Package simple bundled services and licensing - i.e. Suite, Active and Named User - attach procedures for easy video room integrations.
Channel Development
- Develops active pathways for referrals “leads” to / from platform, hardware, and service ecosystem partners.
- Evangelizes the value and remunerations of Cisco technology within the AVI-SPL sales channel.
- Identifies opportunities and effectively positions AVI-SPL services for Cisco solutions.
- Leads Customer interactions and develops sales for opportunities of scale.
- Leads the creation and deployment of recurrent training, content/sales messaging, processes, practices, forms, and tools to support the sales force.
- Supports frontline sales managers in adapting effective Cisco Go-to-market strategies to their teams, Customers, and territories.
- Supports Cisco solutions, products and services by preparing and enabling the sales force to understand and sell Cisco solutions
- Creates trust.
Deal Enablement
- Supports the buying and selling processes at all stages, from lead generation through win/loss as it relates to Customer experiences and life-cycle activities.
- Coordinates Customer Experience activities for promoting adoption, expansion, and renewal throughout the Customer life-cycle.
- Understand our global capabilities with UCC Platforms. Support all the global locations through the licensing design, quoting and buying process.
Market Strategy and Development
- Host regular meeting cadence with necessary internal AVI-SPL stakeholders to ensure alignment with internal/external needs and the overall UCC Practice strategy
- Collaborate and guide our Service Products Development teams on the Cisco life cycle value proposition and Cisco Powered managed services.
- Assist the other Practice Leads - UCC, Voice, NetSec, DWX, Customer Success and licensing - in managing and monitoring standards with Cisco design and deployment to promote innovation, quality, and consistency of experience
- Provide leadership to ensure that the business outcomes, user experience and ongoing user adoption is consistently attained throughout AVI-SPL and for our Customers
- Other duties assigned as needed
Skills and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Cisco Video and Voice technology and application to cloud platforms.
- B2B, Devices, Mobility, Security, Network and Commercial Applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Google and PEXIP
- All aspects of strategy, development, and implementation leveraging specific hybrid work expertise and broad platform expertise across the major UCC platforms and related Information Technology subject matter.
- Must have knowledge of regional differences in support of international deployments
- Experience in leadership and direction of pre-sales, sales and delivery processes.
- Technical aptitude and ability to be a self-driven learner with credible understanding of UCC, Audio/Visual, Collaboration and Meeting space technologies overall
- Must have ability to lead and contribute individually, as well as work productively within a team and across functional disciplines
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral – along with professional, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface credibly at the “C” level
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time and work in a self-directed manner
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Exceptional strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of a 4-year degree or comparable industry experience is required'
- Cisco advanced certifications preferred. Especially sales and pre-sales focused certifications
- Sales and Sales Support Experience Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in multiple UCC platforms
- 5+ years of experience in Video & Voice over IP technology
- Technically propelled, sales results focused entrepreneur
- ITIL lifecycle and service delivery certification.

Work Hours
Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account
AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as deems necessary

This pay range represents the base salary for this position. Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, and location.
