ResponsibilitiesPeraton is looking to hire a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in the Washington DC Metro area. This role will be a remote position. At times the role will also require travel to the Quantico client site when necessary.
What you'll do:
- Integrates DevSecOps tools as part of an agile team to achieve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) applications.
- Represents the DevOps team for consistent messaging across all phases of complex development projects – including dependencies and blockers
- Builds CI/CD solutions for large enterprises at an Individual Contributor level.
- Documents designs and changes to environments in Jira and/or Confluence as a record and to communicate information to other team members.
- Works on cross functional self-organizing teams as needed to collaborate in solving IT issues or implementing solutions to program requirements.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding all aspects of CI/CD and system.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Education: 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with a PhD or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance
- Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language including, but not limited to Python, Java and Ruby
- 3 years experience in IT industry as DevOps Engineer/Architect with Development Operations (DevOps)
- Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration technologies including Gitlab (and Gitlab Runners), Jenkins, Ansibile Concourse, CircleCI, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code languages and frameworks such as Terraform
- Experience with agile and lean philosophies.
- Role must be local to the Washington DC Metro Area
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
