Full Job Description
Job Summary:

To design, implement, secure, and maintain MTE's cloud infrastructure and cloud access controls-primarily in Azure-in a manner that improves security posture, operational efficiency, and service reliability to help the organization provide affordable, reliable, safe electricity and outstanding member service to its members.

Job Requirements:
  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Must have at least a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, MIS, or related discipline.
  • Must have a minimum of six (6) years' experience designing, implementing, securing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and cloud-based services (Azure experience preferred).
  • Must have at least one (1) active advanced cloud certification at the professional/expert level (other advanced cloud certifications will be considered).
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
    • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
    • AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Professional
    • AWS Certified: DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Preferred additional certifications (not required - equivalent or superior certifications will be considered).
    • Microsoft (Azure/M365/Identity)
      • Azure security and identity-focused certifications
      • Microsoft 365 security administration certifications
    • AWS
      • AWS Specialty certifications
      • Additional AWS role-based certifications beyond the required advanced credential
    • Okta
      • Okta certifications (Professional, Administrator, Consultant, Architect)
      • Relevant Okta specialty certifications where applicable
    • CyberArk
      • CyberArk certifications aligned to privileged access and identity security (Defender, Sentry, Guardian)
      • Other CyberArk University certifications relevant to PAM/Privilege Cloud administration
