Full Job Description
Information Technology Services (ITS) is recruiting for one (1) IT Infrastructure Engineer to function as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will:
-Design AWS and Azure landing zones, account and subscription structures, network segmentation, connectivity patterns, and shared cloud services in order to provide secure, scalable environments for DSS workloads.
-Develop cloud network architecture, including virtual networks, routing, firewalls, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, DNS, and hybrid connectivity required to support migration from on-premises data centers.
-Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep in order to automate repeatable provisioning of cloud environments and reduce manual configuration errors.
-Develop cloud network architecture, including virtual networks, routing, firewalls, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, DNS, and hybrid connectivity required to support migration from on-premises data centers.
-Collaborate with Cyber Command, OTI, and internal security teams to design cloud security architecture, baseline controls, vulnerability remediation processes, encryption patterns, and compliance requirements.
-Review cloud designs and change requests for alignment with security, operational, resiliency, and governance standards before implementation.
-Monitor cloud platform health, performance, capacity, availability, and operational metrics using cloud-native and enterprise monitoring platforms.
-Provide technical guidance to project teams and support staff on cloud infrastructure standards, migration processes, and operational procedures.
Hours/Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or,
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or,
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
