Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, or related field with 9+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute per policy.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or DOE Q clearance with SCI eligibility; ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification (must obtain within 3 months).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/VCF or equivalent virtualization solutions.
• Experience managing Kubernetes and containerized workloads (Docker or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain hybrid cloud environments for Space Force operations using VMware Cloud Foundation, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Configure, secure, and troubleshoot vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and Kubernetes clusters for production settings.
• Containerize and deploy application workloads with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and performance tuning across compute, storage, and network components.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and performance reports.
