Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems support.
• Basic understanding of CPU, memory, and performance metrics.
• SQL experience for data parsing from the Cost and Usage Report (CUR).
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies related to cloud optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Preferred: AWS cloud experience, certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner), and programming skills in Python or other languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching AWS cloud service offerings for cost optimization.
• Support initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, reserved instances, and workload scheduling.
• Participate in architecture reviews focused on cloud best practices, learning from technical leaders.
• Support engineering, product, and finance teams with cloud cost data under senior guidance.
• Build knowledge of cloud pricing models and FinOps best practices.
• Leverage AWS CLI for retrieving metadata for cost transparency.
• Assist in developing processes for cost transparency in AWS and Azure.
