Summary

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer - Senior to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Description

The Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a technical expert supporting applications and other unit mission needs. The engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of hybrid IT environments leveraging AWS cloud services and on premises Windows Server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications hosted in AWS and on-premises Windows Server environments
  • Provide O&M support, including patching, hardening, system upgrades, and routine maintenance
  • Deliver infrastructure support during core and non-core hours as needed to meet mission requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, DBAs, and Security Engineers, to ensure system compliance, reliability, and security
  • Support application development, deployment, and lifecycle activities in coordination with government and contractor teams


Required Skills and Experience
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch) and Windows Server administration
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevSecOps practices, and auto-scaling solutions
  • Ability to independently develop cloud optimization strategies and maximize AWS capabilities
  • Experience with full SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong analytical, technical, documentation, communication, and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently, identify system improvements, and support team growth
