We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Admin who can evolve from system administration into engineering, automation, and scalable cloud design. The role focuses on building resilient, secure, and repeatable environments while supporting a hybrid infrastructure. Candidates should have strong fundamentals, with a mindset focused on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Job Location:Malvern, PA (hybrid work schedule)
What you will be doing:Key Responsibilities- Design, support, and evolve Azure environments with a focus on scalability, high availability, and cost optimization
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
- Administer, troubleshoot, and patch Windows Server environments across cloud and on-premises
- Support and maintain hybrid identity (Active Directory and Entra ID), including synchronization, Conditional Access, and MFA
- Manage and troubleshoot Exchange environments, including hybrid configurations and mail flow
- Implement and improve security using Zero Trust principles, RBAC, and secure secret management (Key Vault)
- Design monitoring and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics with a focus on proactive remediation
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Drive automation-first and self-healing approaches to reduce manual intervention and prevent recurring issues
Required Skills & Experience- Strong foundation in Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with core Azure services (VMs, networking, storage)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability concepts
Preferred / Growth Areas- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
- Azure networking and design patterns
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Security tools such as Defender and Sentinel
- Kubernetes and container platforms
- Cost optimization strategies
Certifications- AZ-104 (required or to be obtained shortly after joining)
- AZ-305 (recommended for growth into design role)
- AZ-400 (optional, DevOps track)
